Yu Luming, former vice chairman of Beijing's political consultative body, had his bribery case heard in the Intermediate People's Court of Zhangjiakou, Hebei province on Thursday.

Yu was alleged to be involved in illegal handling of land use rights and favorable treatment in contracting hospital projects during his tenure at the health authority in Beijing's Daxing district, the district government and the Beijing commission of health and family planning between 2001 to 2019, China Media Group reported.
