Madrid event promotes Shandong tourism
An event promoting tourism in East China's Shandong province was recently held in China Cultural Center in Madrid, Spain.
Guests had the opportunity to enjoy a photo exhibition featuring the scenic beauty of Shandong and visit booths where inheritors of intangible cultural heritage showcased their handicrafts.
Wu Haitao, China's ambassador to Spain, said at the event that Shandong province, as the birthplace of Confucius, boasts rich cultural and tourism resources.
He expressed his belief that the event would contribute to enhancing the understanding of Shandong among Spanish citizens and showcasing the captivating allure of Chinese culture.
Shandong Provincial Cultural Heritage Administration and Shandong Museum signed cooperation agreements with two Spanish museums during the event, solidifying collaborative ties between the two nations in the realm of cultural heritage.
