Talks with former Iraqi president: China and Iraq's friendship and ties

For many people, Iraq is a Middle Eastern country with rich oil resources, which has been ravaged by years of wars and conflicts. China enjoys a traditional friendship with Iraq with bilateral cooperation making steady progress in the past years.
