More merchants attend Yiwu imported commodities fair

More merchants are attending the 2023 China Yiwu Imported Commodities Fair, which opened in Yiwu, Zhejiang province on Monday. The import expo features 2,000 standard booths, covering an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters.

The three-day event includes five main thematic pavilions showcasing over 1,000 exhibitors from 81 countries and regions.

In recent years, Yiwu's import industry has experienced continuous growth. From January to September of this year, Yiwu achieved an import value of 48.97 billion yuan ($6.72 billion), marking a year-on-year increase of 52.8 percent.
