Cross-regional collaboration shines at Lhasa's New Year fair

A New Year-themed fair featuring various wares was held at the Lhasa Ancient Courtyard in Lhasa, the capital of the Xizang autonomous region, to herald the upcoming Chinese Spring Festival and the Tibetan New Year, also known as Losar.

This year, Losar and the Chinese Spring Festival fall on the same day, Feb 10.

Inside the bustling courtyard, merchants sell various goods, such as coffee, beauty products, handicrafts, rugs, artistic paintings, snacks, leather goods, jewelry and pendants.
