In classic Chinese texts, the phrase yun fen refers to an atmosphere of mysteries and grandeur, accentuated by thick mist or scent.

At Yun Fen, an ongoing exhibition gathering five contemporary women artists at AimerArt gallery, a special atmosphere, or chemistry, has been created through works that link the old and new, the traditional and vanguard.

Featured artists are inspired by the different categories of traditional art and crafts in their creation, but meanwhile, they have employed the avant-garde approaches to render these traditional forms an innovative look.
