"Make America Great Again" has become a famous slogan for supporters of US President Donald Trump.

To pursue this vision, the president has reshaped US foreign policy approach with a wrecking ball—imposing hefty tariffs, and withdrawing from international agreements like the Paris Agreement and the World Health Organization.

The "America First" doctrine argues that global engagement has long undermined US interests, but critics warn it's fueling a dangerous new isolationism.

The costs are mounting. Tariffs meant to "fix" trade imbalances have instead raised consumer prices, while threats to seize strategic assets like Greenland or the Panama Canal have sparked global backlash.

Meanwhile, his administration is reviewing all US treaties, with more exits likely by July. Experts say this retreat weakens the country's global standing, leaving it increasingly isolated.

The question remains: Are these policy shifts making the US stronger?
