Stray cats bring plague of flees

Some 90 people living in a residential area in Yangquan of Shanxi Province were plagued by inexplicably large hoards of fleas for days.

The fleas were found to have come from some homeless cats sheltered in a room unused for years.

The fleas began attacking residents after the cats moved out of the room.

Fortunately, all the fleas were killed inside the room by local disease-control authorities.
