"You can not look at beautiful girls when you are in the street;" "Don't complain whenever you do housework;" "You must have pity on the disabled" A man in Wuhan of Hubei Province has suffered these orders from his wife for the past 20 years.

Zhang Minhui (an assumed name), 45, came to Wuhan from Jiangxi Province 20 years ago to work in a factory. With the help of a matchmaker, he met his wife, who was disabled in her leg, and married her out of sympathy.

Since then, Zhang did all the family chores, including sending their child to school. But his wife, who is becoming more short-tempered day after day, often quarrels with him.

When they walk on the street, his wife complains that Zhang always looks at other girls; when they watch some TV programmes on the disabled, his wife thinks that those programmes and Zhang may laugh at her.

Zhang is seeking help from local media.
