A mad dog was shot dead after rushing into a high school and biting three students in Wahua County, Guangdong Province, on Thursday.

The incident took place at about 4 pm, when the dog rushed onto the campus and bit three students who were having physical education class on the sports ground.

Local police were called to the campus, and the 15-kilogram dog was later shot dead after being forced into a corner of the campus. The victims were immediately sent to hospital for treatment.
