Passer-by mistaken for bicycle thief

A woman mistakenly thought that a passer-by stole her electric bicycle, and the two made a scene in a street of Jinan, Shandong Province.

Li spotted Zhao riding a bicycle identical to one of hers that had been stolen several days ago. She shouted out and chased after Zhao; the two then had a fierce quarrel on the street and alerted police.

After investigation, police proved that the bicycle belonged to Zhao. As the mistake was cleared up, Zhao asked for 100 yuan (US$12) in compensation for mental damage.
