A book recounting the history of Tibet since its liberation has been published over the weekend.

The History of the Liberation of Tibet was compiled by more than 100 scholars, veteran cadres and generals who participated in the liberation. It tells of several major events such as the peaceful liberation, democratic reform and the establishment of the autonomous region.

It also introduces Tibet's origin, its close links with the motherland, ethnic and religion issues, its history of feudal serfdom society, imperialist invasion into the region and the emergence of secessionist forces.

At a seminar, co-sponsored by the Party History Research Center of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Tibetan regional Party committee, experts said the book will help people get a better understanding of the region's history and the exposure of the separatist acts of the Dalai clique.
