China's industrial output up 19.2% in Nov

China's industrial output rose 19.2 percent in November from a year earlier, according to the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

The increase rate was 13.8 percentage points higher from a year earlier and 3.1 percentage points higher than October, the NBS said Friday.

The increase has accelerated for seven successive months.

China's Nov CPI rises 0.6%, PPI down 2.1%

China's consumer price index (CPI), a main gauge of inflation, increased 0.6 percent year-on-year in November, ending nine months of decline, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) said Friday.

The CPI figure declined 0.5 percent in the previous month and increased 2.4 percent in last November.

The producer price index (PPI), a major measure of inflation at the wholesale level, dropped 2.1 percent year-on-year in November, according to the NBS.

The rate of decline was 3.7 percentage points lower than that in October.

China’s retail sales up 15.8% in Nov

China's retail sales in November rose 15.8 percent year-on-year, the National Bureau of Statistics said Friday.

The rise was 5 percentage points lower than that of a year earlier, and 0.4 percentage points lower than that in October.
