Medical service and social security come next in his agenda. He pledged that China will further promote its medical reform as well as increase social security coverage for its huge population.
China will also take measures to increase its workers' income and will spend more on supporting society's vulnerable groups to distribute its social wealth more evenly, Wen said.
All these goals have already been on the government's agenda and will be realized step by step, Wen said, adding that only by realizing social fairness, can people gain happiness and dignity.
