ZHENGZHOU - Water supply for 800,000 people in a Central China city has been disrupted since Wednesday morning after a pipe burst forced waterworks to stop operation, local authorities said.
A major water pipe burst Wednesday morning in Zhengzhou city, capital of Central China's Henan province. The Shiyuan Waterworks -- owner of the pipe, had to suspend operation in case the water would flow backwards to the plant and contaminate water supply.
