5.7-magnitude quake hits Taiwan
(Xinhua) Updated: 2012-06-06 10:01BEIJING - An earthquake measuring 5.7 on the Richter scale jolted Taiwan region at 01:08:32 GMT, 09:08:32 Beijing Time, on Wednesday, the US Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 5.20 kilometers, was initially determined to be at 22.3854 degrees north latitude and 121.4824 degrees east longitude.
