BEIJING - China firmly opposes the spread of weapons of mass destruction as well as their means of delivery, Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Weimin told a daily press briefing Wednesday.
Liu denied that China had exported missile carriers to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) last August.
China has always strictly fulfilled the United Nations Security Council resolutions and seriously implemented relevant Chinese laws and regulations, he said, adding that Chinese companies have not exported items banned by the resolutions, laws and regulations.
Relevant countries clearly know China's position, as China keeps communication with them on the proliferation issue, said the spokesman.
