Eight killed in N China chemical leakage

TAIYUAN, May 16 -- Eight people were killed following a chemical leakage in a plant of north China's Shanxi Province on Saturday morning, authorities said.

According to the government of Yangcheng County, carbon disulfide was leaked in the plant of Ruixing chemical company at around 7 a.m., which also injured two workers.

Further investigation is under way.
