ROK ready to discuss 'all issues' at nuke talks

BEIJING - The top nuclear negotiator of the Republic of Korea (ROK) said on Tuesday that he will "exert utmost efforts to achieve tangible results" during his meeting on Wednesday with his counterpart from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), as part of efforts to revive the long-stalled Six-Party Talks.

ROK envoy Wi Sung-lac told reporters at Beijing Capital International Airport on Tuesday morning that he planned to discuss "all the issues" toward denuclearization in the meeting with Ri Yong-ho, his counterpart from the DPRK, according to the ROK's Yonhap News Agency.

Wi said Seoul raised several proposals during the last round of talks between the ROK and the DPRK, and will listen to Pyongyang seriously if it has any new ideas.
