'The Wolf of Wall Street,' a Scorsese epic of American greed
Beijing Shengshi Huarui Films Investment Co., Ltd has changed its name to Goldsome Pictures. A press conference announcing the name change was held in Beijing on December 18, 2013.

Lu Wei, who wrote the screenplays for Chen Kaige's "Farewell My Concubine" and Zhang Yimou's "To Live," attended the press conference alongside Huang Jianxin, director of "The Founding of a Republic," and Ning Ying, director of "To Live and Die in Ordos" which won Chinese actor Wang Jingchun "Best Actor" award at the 26th Tokyo International Film Festival in Tokyo in last October. Chinese actor Liu Hua and Yang Lixin also joined the conference.

Gao Jun, general manager of Goldsome Pictures, explained that the company has won investment from Beijing State-owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. The company has previously invested in films such as "Ip Man" and "Painted Skin." Their latest cinematic investment, "Iceman 3D" will come out in April next year.
