After the speech, many spectators approached the stage to thank Wang Fujian personally and observe instruments at close range.

The second speech was held on September 4. A local Chinese music band started by Victor Colella performed two pieces of Chinese music, Vain Longing and Dance of the Yao People, at the end of the speech. Wang offered his advice afterwards. According to Victor, his band is five years old and its fourteen members are all Chinese culture enthusiasts. Wang was impressed and encouraged them to keep up the good work.

He Yong, from the Cultural Counsel of Chinese Embassy in Chile, attended the third speech on September 6. He noted that, "This is the first time Chinese Culture Talk visits Chile. It's safe to say we get off on the right foot thanks to Professor Wang. More Chinese artists will come to Chile in the near future. Now we have more confidence to promote Chinese culture far and wide."

Wang Fujian told local media: "The remote distance between China and Chile should not get in the way of our cultural exchanges. I am happy to be here to tell you China's music story, to bring the most traditional and attractive cultural form to Latin America. "
