China's Tang Jiaxuan meets Russian FM on bilateral ties

Chinese State Councilor Tang Jiaxuan,who is accompanying President Hu Jintao on his state visit to Russia, met with Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov Monday night to discuss issues of common concern.

Tang and Ivanov exchanged views on Sino-Russian relations, the upcoming third Summit Meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and current international affairs.

Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing was present at the meeting.
