Property company heads earn most

Chief executives of real estate companies are the highest-paid company heads
in Shenzhen, according to the latest salary indices released by the Shenzhen
Labour Bureau.
Property company chiefs earned an annual 528,000 yuan (US$63,600), compared
to the average 180,000-yuan (US$21,600) salary paid in the service sector.
The salaries of skilled workers, for whom demand is great while supply is
lacking, increased 10 per cent over last year's figures.
The average salary growth rate is 2 per cent this year, reports Nanfang
Daily.
