Lights on at area scenic spots

The lights were turned back on at all of the city's scenic spots on Wednesday
after a deliberate 15-day blackout, according to Oriental Morning Post.
To satisfy residents' demand for electricity during the recent hot spell, the
municipal government decided to cut off the electricity supply to outdoor
lighting at the Bund, People's Square, Huaihai Road, Nanjing Road and many other
popular spots.
Now that temperatures have cooled down, the lights are on again.
