Survivor-style guided tours on offer

Guangdong travel agencies are
planning to launch 50 different "expedition" packages in September designed to
attract adventure-seeking tourists, reports Guangzhou Daily.
People who sign up for the tours will cross deserts, scale mountains or hike
in forests - with the help of professional guides.
The packages are ranked at five different levels of difficulty and risk to
appeal to a wide market.
Most of the routes explore wilderness areas in the Tibet and Xinjiang Uygur
autonomous regions and Sichuan and Yunnan provinces.
