Height limit causes many complaints
( 2003-08-21 13:30) (China Daily)

Tourists visiting the Military Museum are complaining that its 0.60-metre height limit for free entry for children does not make sense, reports Beijing Times.

A signboard in front of an airplane on display outside the museum says children shorter than 0.6 metres may enter the craft for free. But a tourist, Guan, told the newspaper that the height limit was meaningless.

"My boy was 0.51 metres tall when he was born," said She. "I'm afraid only newborn babies can enjoy the favourable treatment."

But ticket personnel told the newspaper they were flexible in charging visitors and "did not usually charge two- or three-year-olds."
