Desperate jobless man tries suicide

A man distraught over his inability to find a job attempted suicide in
Chaoyang District last Sunday, reports Beijing Evening News.
At about 11 am, the 46-year-old man, who resides in Fangyuan, tried to choke
himself with a tie in front of his family. Although they were able to stop him,
he immediately threw himself hard against a wall. His terrified family called an
ambulance.
Ambulance workers arrived to find him slumped on the floor, murmuring that he
had been without a job for so long, and no job agencies seemed to be able to
help him, that he did not want to live.
