Infectious disease hospitals to move ( 2003-08-28 15:05) (China Daily)
Guangzhou Infectious Disease Hospital and the Guangzhou Disease Control Centre will move from their original downtown sites to the suburban Baiyun District, reports Yangcheng Evening News. Construction at the new sites has already begun, with completion expected before 2007. The government plans to invest 400 million yuan (US$48.1 million) and 300 million yuan (US$36.1 million) in the two projects, respectively.
