Karen Mok sings for Hollywood blockbuster
( 2003-09-22 16:53) (CCTV.com)

An increasing number of Hollywood movies are inviting Chinese singers to sing the Chinese versions of their theme songs. The theme song from the film Finding Nemo is still lingering in the ears of Chinese. And now Chinese audience will once again be treated to mesmerizing American tunes with Chinese lyrics -- this time from Karen Mok.

Karen Mok walked along the red carpet during the Hong Kong premiere of the film Down with Love. She had been chosen to sing its theme song. And she made the walk in style, wearing diamond accessories worth five million yuan or about 600,000 US dollars. The lead female role is played by Golden Globe winner Renee Zellweger, also a star in the recent Chicago movie hit. Karen Mok says she has her own ideas about the story, and views on chocolate and love.

Karen Mok, a singer & actress, said:"I don't like playboys because love is not a game. Chocolate is my favorite, actually my family's favorite. I especially like it. Mum says eating too much chocolate has given me darker skin."

Whether Karen Mok is in love or eating sweets, her fans just hope she'll keep on singing more hit movie themes.
