A college student who was tricked into revealing his bank account PIN last Friday caught the two men who swindled him the next day at the same place, reports Beijing Times.

The student, Zhang, fell prey to an old-fashioned scam, in which one man drops some money and another pretends to share it "secretly" with their victim, near Beijing People's Hospital. Zhang was forced to empty his pockets when the first man returned to claim the money.

When Zhang showed him everything he had on his person, including a bank card, the owner of the bag claimed it all and even uttered a PIN number.

Eager to prove the card was his, Zhang told the man his own PIN, only to discover later that the two men had taken and used his card to withdraw all of his money.

When Zhang visited the same place the next day and saw the two repeating their scam, he immediately called police.
