Man gets death for 50-yuan-debt killing

A man who killed a rice shop
owner over a 50-yuan (US$6) debt has received the death sentence at the Huizhou
Intermediate People's Court, reports Guangzhou Daily.
Shao Yangxin, a 36-year-old from Longmen County, owed 50 yuan to Chen's rice
shop.
But when Chen visited the glass shop where Shao was working last January 5 to
ask for the money, Shao hit Chen on the head with his hammer.
He struck Chen three more times after Chen collapsed before burying the body
on a mountain, according to police.
