Cheating in exams leads to expulsion
( 2003-10-08 14:48) (China Daily)

China Agricultural University has recently expelled three students who were found cheating in the final exams of last semester, reports Beijing Evening News.

Two students of Information and Electronics School, who asked two other students to respectively sit for four and three exams, were subjected to the most severe penalty.

The student who "helped" in four exams is also included in the list, while the other's case is under review.

The university also announced penalties for several other students involved in various forms of cheating last term, including secretly carrying materials to test sites.

The university's disciplinary director, Lu Zhaotong, said the university would deal severely with cheating; and in extreme cases, students would be referred to police.
