More than 3 tons of seafood has been confiscated by customs police in a "pre-holiday anti-smuggling" action, reports Nanfang Daily.

More than 100 police officers set up roadblocks near port areas at 7 pm on Friday to inspect passing vehicles.

Their efforts exposed 35 cases of smuggling.

And two fishing boats from Hong Kong were found bringing seafood into Shenzhen waters late Friday night and early Saturday morning.
