A nine-year-old boy was found driving a police car, with flash light on, to chase pedestrians for fun in the streets of Shenyang last Sunday, reports Huashang Morning Post.

At about 10:20 pm, a police car swerved through Fugong Street, sending pedestrians and street-side stall-owners scurrying for cover.

The vehicle sped for a time and pulled to a sudden stop. The loudspeaker sent out the voice of a young boy, who shouted "Get away, or I'll hit you."

The boy turned out to be son of an official with a local People's Court. "He stole my key when I fell asleep," the father, who got drunk and slept in the back seat of the police car, told the newspaper.
