16 confirmed dead; more to be trapped

Six more workers have been confirmed dead in the scaffolding collapse at a
construction site in Jiangmen on Tuesday, bringing the death toll to 16, reports
Information Times.
Rescue work was continuing on Wednesday night as the total number of trapped
workers was unclear.
Temporary workers were helping at the site that day to meet the completion
deadline on October 30, according to survivors.
Initial investigation showed the scaffolding had not been properly set up,
causing the collapse.
