Lonely farmer pens terror graffiti ( 2003-10-16 11:03) (China Daily)
Graffiti suggesting the existence of a "man-killing club" along the Chaozhou
section of a national highway was painted by a frustrated farmer, reports
Yangcheng Evening News.
The phrase "Chaozhou Tiepu Xitou Man-Killing Club" was seen splashed in red
paint along the No 324 National Highway, inspiring wild speculations about its
meaning.
When a reporter from the newspaper visited Xitou Village in Tiepu Town,
Chaozhou, a village official suggested he talk to a bachelor farmer "who's a
little crazy".
The farmer admitted in an interview to having painted the message to vent
anger over failed attempts to find a spouse.
