Foreigners caught passing fake notes

Four foreigners have been arrested on charges of swindling businesses with
counterfeit currency in the capital city, reports Beijing Star Daily.
The four are charged with passing large counterfeit notes by asking shop
owners to change them for smaller ones. And they occasionally traded fake
foreign currency for renminbi. The group is suspected of swindling more than
80,000 yuan (US$9,640) through the scheme since August.
Most of the cases took place at a furniture shopping centre, gasoline
stations and grocery stores.
