Mao collection exceeds 10,000 images

Sun Xihong, a farmer in Dandong, in Northeast China's Liaoning Province, has
collected more than 10,000 photos and other images of the late Chairman Mao
Zedong, reports Changsha Evening News.
Sun started collecting the photos in 1976 as the country was mourning Mao's
death.
According to the report, Sun transported nearly half of his collection to
Shaoshan in Central China's Hunan Province - Mao's hometown - for an exhibition
to commemorate the 110th anniversary of Mao's birth last December 26.
Sun plans to build a small exhibition hall for his
collection.
