Chamber of commerce planned

The provincial government is
planning to set up a chamber of commerce in Hubei to safeguard the interests of
Guangdong investors, according to the official website of People's Daily
(people.com.cn).
An official disclosed the news following the 2003 Guangdong-Hubei Economic
and Trade Co-operation Conference that wrapped up on Monday.
The chamber of commerce will enhance communications between Guangdong
investors and local governments, which will encourage more investment in Hubei,
the official said.
