Phone pest makes 5,000 calls in 3 months

A man who made 5,000 harassing
phone calls to his former girlfriend over three months is being sued by the
young woman's family, reports Beijing Evening News.
In June, Xiao Chen began phoning the home of his former girlfriend every
three minutes.
The young woman's father eventually called police, who were able to trace the
calls to Xiao Chen.
The family are suing Xiao Chen for a written apology and more than 12,000
yuan (US$1,450) in compensation.
The Tongzhou District People's Court heard the case on
Tuesday.
