Crane cable traps migrant worker

A construction worker whose
leg became entrapped in a steel cable on a crane 41 metres above the ground was
rescued by firefighters Tuesday afternoon, Shanghai Evening Post reports.
Meng, a 41-year-old migrant worker, was changing the cable on the arm of the
crane at a construction site in the Putuo District when his left leg got caught
in the rolling cable.
His co-workers called 119 for help.
Two firefighters climbed up the crane, released Meng and sent him to
hospital.
His injuries were judged to be non-life-threatening.
