Two out of three men in China's major cities regularly wear business suits according to a survey of 1,428 men aged 20-45 in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and elsewhere, Shanghai Morning Post reports.

According to a survey conducted by a local company, the business suit is most men's first choice of clothing for any occasion, while one-third of those polled own at least one suit.

The survey also revealed that more than half of the men interviewed gave top priority to brand names when purchasing business suits, followed by colour and quality of cloth.

Most men said they shopped for suits in department stores or specialty shops.
