A team of more than 40 part-time anti-crime volunteers has been formed in Fuzhou, Fujian Province.

Members of the team, who range in age from 25 to 45, have been enlisted to look out for thieves and even photograph street thefts being committed in their spare time.

Police say they appreciate the extra help on weekends and holidays, and any incriminating photos facilitate the evidence-gathering process.
