Lottery loser throws bricks from roof

A man on a rooftop hurled bricks at passers-by in his frustration at failing
to win the lottery, reports Southern Metro News.
The man was seen throwing the bricks and other rubbish from the roof of a
five-storey building at Kangle West Lane in the Haizhu District at around 10 am
on Sunday.
The 20-something man appeared to be very distressed, said witnesses.
Police had to seal off the street for about one hour until they were able to
take the man away. No one was injured.
The man said he had spent a large amount of money buying lottery tickets but
won very little in return, which led him to vent his anger by throwing
things.
