100 yuan for 50 yuan withdrawal ( 2003-11-26 17:21) (China Daily)
A resident of the Huairou District was surprised to receive a bonus 50 yuan (US$6) from an ATM, reports Beijing Star Daily. Li went to withdraw 50 yuan from a Bank of China ATM but found a 100-yuan (US$12) note sticking out of the cash dispenser instead. Bank staff later explained that another customer might have tried to feed the note into the machine through the wrong slot.
