Boy kidnaps self to get grandpa's money

A 10-year-old boy kidnapped himself and sent a ransom note to his grandfather
demanding 5,000 yuan (US$600), reports Sichuan Online.
Several days ago, little Wang Xing accidentally scratched a motorcycle as he
played outside in Yibin, Sichuan Province. The motorcycle's owner asked him to
pay hundreds of yuan to repair the scratch.
Afraid to ask his family for the money, Wang plotted his own kidnapping. He
left a note at the gate to his home asking his grandfather to leave 5,000 yuan
beside a public toilet in the village. The note threatened that if the old man
failed to carry out the demand, he would never see his beloved grandson
again.
