Illegal-shop owner threatens suicide

Liu Guowei, owner of an aquatic-product shop, threatened to set himself on
fire to prevent his illegal booth from being pulled down on Thursday, Shanghai
Youth Daily reports.
Liu, with gasoline sprinkled all over his body, carried a few canisters of
gas with him to the market management office and warned that he would start a
fire if anybody tried to dismantle his booth.
At about 1:45 pm, special policemen broke into the office building and
captured him. The case is under investigation.
