Woman pays debt of gratitude

An elderly woman gave 1,600 yuan (US$193) to staff members of the People's
Hospital in Jianhu County to repay a debt of gratitude from 39 years ago,
reports Yangtze Evening News.
In 1964, her son got infected with encephalitis, which had a high death rate.
Two doctors paid 16 yuan (US$1.9) in medical fees on behalf of the woman, and
saved her son's life.
The woman looked for the two kind-hearted persons for several years in vain
as she did not know their names.
So she gave 100 times the original medical fees to the hospital earlier this
week.
