Friends' friends landed Guo, a
Guangzhou resident, with a breakfast bill of 4,690 yuan (US$565.1) on Monday,
reports Southern Metropolis News.
When Guo invited some of his friends to have breakfast in a local restaurant,
they brought along some of their friends as well - and all had brakfast in a VIP
room.
The bill was so high that Guo refused to pay till the waitresses told him
that the friends' friends had also ordered 80 packets of expensive cigarettes to
go with their breakfast - and vanished.
Guo had to cough up the amount when police arrived after the restaurant
launched a complaint.
