Woman gets paid for forced abortion ( 2003-12-24 16:27) (China Daily)
A woman in Zhengzhou, capital of Central China's Henan Province, was compensated for her forced abortion - she was thrown off the seat of her speeding bus in September last year when she was two months' pregnant. She was paid 11,010.43 yuan (US$1,326.6), including 10,000 yuan (US$1,205) as compensation for emotional trauma, the first case involving mental anguish in the province.
